The Company

The role

•Maximize existing partner business within assigned districts and for defined accounts utilizing sales approaches / account management effective for a Sales Manager

•Initiate and develop new business opportunities within the dedicated districts and for defined accounts

•Initiate business/marketing plans and sales activities to ensure target growth is achieved

•Management of business partners within assigned accounts, by clear and effective communication in order to raise NCL profile and to maximize business opportunities

•Responsible for achieving targets as set by the business by the creation of clear account development plans to include marketing and sales activity devised to drive growth

•Formulating ongoing sales activities within portfolio of partners to complement company marketing and sales strategy

•Distribution of company products, tariffs and promotional opportunities

•Complete accountability for marketing budget within given portfolio in regard to promotional activities and campaigns etc., with responsibility for ensuring regular analysis on ROI

•Conduct effective relationship building through clear and constant communication both internally and externally

•Managing commercial agreements by maintaining accurate and up to date sales figures and providing benchmarks to assist with target planning

•Implement creative sales promotion activities with defined partners according to Revenue Management requirements

•Conduct regular reviews of sales figures with both internal and external stakeholders

•Represent NCL at trade and consumer exhibitions, cruise shows and evenings. This will involve working evening and weekends

The person

•Minimum of 3 years experience in dealing with either travel agents or tour operators in a sales/commercial capacity

•Sales-oriented individual with a proven track-record in business development within a similar environment

•Excellent understanding of account management skills and sales processes with good commercial awareness who is able to negotiate at the most senior level

•A good strong strategic thinker who is able to identify and exploit business opportunities at an early stage

•A background in developing and implementing sales and marketing plans

•Basic level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include intermediate level skills with Outlook and Word. Intermediate level knowledge of PowerPoint for familiarity with marketing templates and sales presentation.

•Enthusiastic and passionate with a “can do” attitude

•Experience of contract negotiation would be an advantage

•Hard working, driven individual with ability to work on own initiative to tight deadlines

•Good analytical skills and a strong attention to detail is required with regular reviews of performance against plan

•Ability to build strong relationships across internal and external businesses

•Flexible in working hours

•Ability and willingness to intense travel within UK, Europe and overseas

•Team player

•Driving licence

Job Description : Title: Marketing Data Analyst

Purpose of the role:
The role is to look for trends in our buying data and applying it to other bookers/enquirers we have on the database, and source new leads off the database. In addition, you will be responsible for the management and reporting of all the guest data on the database.

Key Responsibilities:
* To own Scott Dunn guest data
* Write queries to pull data for mailings/emailings
* Campaign set up, management and action
* Post campaign analysis
* Trend analysis and recommendations
* Routine maintenance of the data (cleaning etc)
* Data purchasing
* Profiling against external data
* "Driver" of PIMPS development for marketing
* Manage relationships with external data suppliers
* Manage/own external emailing tool (advise on which)
* Manage all data in and out of the database (including external mailing tool)
* Web data analysis (Google Analytics data)
* Produce reports

Candidate should have the following experience:
* Good working experience in UK blue chip data environment
* SQL server experience essential
* SQL query writing essential
* Statistics background
* Experience in Direct Marketing essential

Although there is a technical element to this role our client is NOT looking for an SQL DBA etc, they are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst with SQL skills.

Reporting to the General Manager of Contracting you will have responsibility for designated destinations within the Jet2holidays portfolio.
